Our Li’l Red Velvet cakes are a delightful indulgence from start to finish. The all-natural batter is an original recipe we make from scratch and bake fresh in small batches. Once cooled, each densely spongy little cake is filled with rich vanilla cream and coated in scrumptiously smooth milk chocolate.

From the Chef: Red velvet cake is an incredibly popular dessert, but it is always made with Red #40, which is an artificial food dye. Jean-François borrowed the original Lil' Red Velvet batter recipe from his wife, Dina, who is also a pastry chef. Her variation substitutes the artificial food dye with organic beet powder, thereby upholding Tumbador’s dedication to use only the finest all-natural ingredients.
